sat: becca's bday party

planned to go uptown to celebrate becca's bday. then as usual winnie was late so went late.. went to sing k at echo.. it was ok but i thought the songs were rather old compared to the one we went the last time.. aniwei it was fun.. then had dinner at market village.. gals nite out indeed man.. hehe.. so sad 3 of them are going back to hk next yr.. then 2 of them are gonna stay in rez but im moving out n winnie's gonna commute i think.. sigh.. aniwei on the way back we were talking abt bgr.. suddenly reminded me of some dreadful stuff.. all was fine until some stupid letter came along.. ok not gonna bring it up again.. feel much better after talking to jie n a fren in sg.. hope i survive the next 3 wks before i go home for the summer!!

john's b'day

ok actually his b'day was yesterday but i only got the photos today so updating it now. drew the shirt thingy till so tired. din know designing can be so taxing. then was waiting for time to pass so i added some stuffs into the card. haha.. 'it wasn't me' heh aniwei went to italian restaurant to celebrate. he actually din know the whole group of us were going. oh well.. the food was pretty amazing but super filling esp the cake. brownie chocolate cheese cake! gosh. i prob gained like 5kg or something. had to walk back after that. heh then during some time in the meal the whole group of gals went to washroom together. it was quite farnie like having gals' talk downstairs.

roommate's b'day on mon.. couple of frens n i decorated her ( and mine ) room. it looks realli pretty. kinda tiring too climbing up n down to stick the balloons n stuff but fun at the same time. aniwei we wanted to give her a surprise so we locked the room. played some ping pong n watched jdrama before getting her to go into the other room where the cake was. then her bf came n everybody made way for them. haha. then we went up to the room to open present n see the decorations. think she was realli touched or something. we had put several big balloons in front of her comp n above her bed so it would hit her when she got up. but she never remove it when we expected her to do so. then several balloons came off n she stuck them back up again. amazing. n she wanted to take a pic of the ceiling with her in it but i said her head was blocking everything. haha. aniwei i'm tired. getting sick too. darn sore throat

day out today. went to ktv n celebrate alice's belated birthday. we got the times mixed up so we went down early then my fren n her bf never showed up then found out we got the wrong time. anyway car was so stuffy that i got headache. sigh. it was fun but i cant realli read canto esp at the pace of the song. gotta improve. they dun have 5566. bleah. aniwei they realli put 24 candles on the cake. so funny. but they came in too late, at the end of the song. heh. then went to becca's house to order sushi for dinner. darn headache. dun feel like doing work. then realized that i had a missed call. unknown call. dunno if it's mom. dad's not online today too. oh well shall upload the pics later. cant be bothered now

fri nite out

we planned to go ROM for exhibition of Egyptian historical stuff which was from uk. then john came at 5 n we had bubble tea till it was time to meet the others. the stupid bubble tea shop near my place was terribly small n upstairs was like this mini storeroom. aniwei the actual uk museum looks pretty cool in the pic. aniwei john noticed that for all the sculptures the noses were gone so i said the monkey, which is him, was hungry so he mistook the noses as peanuts n ate them up. heh. lame. aniwei leng found out the way to read eygptian inscriptions which was pretty neat, started from the side where the animals are facing. who would have thought of that?! by the time we finished it was alreadi 8.30 n we were starving. then apparently the rest had alreadi eaten n i was like wat the... i could have eaten in rez too. darn. aniwei had vietnamese food which was not bad with durian milkshake. yum. then we headed back to my rez to play pool n air hockey. the air hockey was kinda bad. but the ping pong was ok. never played for so long. luckily my skills is still ok. or rather my talent since i hardly played ping pong. then the guys were playing pool while the gals were watching tv. then edmund wanted to watch F1. so amazing. cant tell he's into this kind of stuff. then they left for supper. man then found out roommate went out n wasnt back. i realli suspect she came back this morning since she said she had breakfast n i woke up like 10 n she was fast asleep. oh well since she refuse to say. wat can i do? supposed to study bio n calculus but she dragged me to watch feel 100% with her. yah it was not bad but i still think i shld have studied. then i was downloading music from 'yang guang xi lie' album. wah dunno any of the series from which they were from. getting alienated from tv. only watch taiwan n japan dramas now. aniwei i was feeling sleepy n went to bed. when i woke up it was alreadi midnight n roommate disappeared. guess she went home. was waiting for her to go so i could concentrate. now i feel sleepy n hungry (again) think i going back to bed now

planned to go house-hunting today but all the places were closed so we went to harbourfront instead. it was realli nice n we walked all over the place n back till my legs are tired. never walked so much in toronto before. heh aniwei it was fun. then we went to korean bbq for dinner. it was kinda like seoul garden back home. buffet-style but u gotta order the food. it was fun. kept suaning bob. haha.. now gotta do lab for tmr.. sleepy

fri nite was so sian.. just winnie n francesca n me at rez.. the others all disappeared.. aniwei we watched one episode of sleeping forest.. kimura was not as gd-looking with long hair.. tied up some more.. yucks.. aniwei the show was kinda weird n strange.. he keeps popping up out of nowhere n he seems to be trailing the gal.. so after the show we were all half-dead.. sleeping indeed.. i realli want to watch 'pride' but it's not downloading.. damn.. gonna get the vcd.. aniwei fran went back to study.. so winnie n i were going to join my frens for pool but winnie wanted to bathe first so i called my fren up since no one was online.. then called home too.. then i wanted to bathe too.. then winnie wanted straighten my hair for the fun of it but after blowing dry it was alreadi straight.. haha.. when we got there it was kinda late.. played only one game then we got chased out.. hmm shawn's roommate look kinda jap.. maybe the hair.. heh.. aniwei we went to 'just desserts'.. shared banana waffle with winnie.. yum.. vanilla ice-cream's the best.. now i agree with twin.. short guys can be quite cute.. sigh.. when we went back winnie went to her bf's place too n dunno wat time she got back that night..

had to go to pacific mall yday to help put up posters for singing competition. then we took the wrong bus so we had to walk the rest of the way there. so tiring jumping ard to avoid water puddles. aniwei we separated into groups to put posters ard the mall. then saw several realli nice bracelets. but roommate kept dragging me away. darn. then i had ¼¦µ°��. it was delicious. havent eaten it in ages. since i was last in hk i think. aniwei we had dinner at mongolian restaurant buffet style. it was not bad although abit on the ex side. then we went back downtown. met another fren for bubble tea. kinda boring. aniwei got back at 12.30. was going to call home but no one was home. sigh. then chatted on msn for a couple of hours.

met john n py for lunch n movies today. luckily py came along. heh or else i might be stuck listening to his lame jokes. had lunch at some food court style place. reminds me of sg so much. ate jap food. heh yummy. was going to watch 'butterfly effect' but he got the times screwed up so we missed it. so we watched 'along came polly' instead, it was not bad. jennifer aniston is sooo pretty!! then afterwards we decided to watch mystic river. the beginning was kinda weird. nearly fell asleep too. but later got caught up in the movie n started paying attention. then went to toys r us. not much stuff left. then i saw the pc games. wanted to get generals for bro but it was the expansion pack. dun think he managed to get the normal one yet. aniwei then we went to chestnut for dinner. it was not too bad. better than my rez sometimes. they got some jap theme dinner thingy next thurs. cool! even py might be skipping lecture for that. heh. then i managed to watch spurs play tonight. they were in toronto tonight! gosh. aniwei vince carter injured his ankle. not sure wat happened exactly but he got substituted n then spurs won! hurray!!

trip to cn tower

went to cn tower for dinner yesterday for dinner. then got tricked into going jie's room so she took me as a model n helped me put make-up. not bad but now got me into the make-up mode too. aniwei we kinda got lost n was late. then it was pretty nice up there but it was just the night view. my fren even managed to identify some of the buildings. gosh. took plenty of pics. then after the meal everyone went to the glass floor. it was freaky looking down man. i din want to stay there at all. then roommate dragged me onto the glass. bleah. so nice. then we went outside which was pure craziness. trembled enough to take photos with all cameras before dashing inside. heh. then all of us sat on the glass floor n some guy popped himself down n said wanted to take with us. then we walked back to rez. on the way stopped at chestnut n stayed for several hours chatting. reached rez only at 3.30
